With five restaurants including buffet, gourmet and speciality restaurants, Reethi Beach can cater for the most discerning customer. With five bars, including a pool bar and three beach bars, there's plenty of choice to keep you entertained when your diving day is done.

The Rehendhi is the resort’s main restaurant and has views over the gardens and ocean, here they serve buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinner buffet has different themed cuisine and is on a fortnightly menu rotation. Vegetarian and healthy dining options are always available, special dietary needs are catered for upon request.

Moodhu Bar and Restaurant is built on stilts over the lagoon, and cooled by the tropical breeze providing a serene, romantic ambience in a lovely, central, yet secluded setting. International a la carte dishes are available, along with a large choice of beverages.

Reethi Grill is the perfect spot to spend balmy evenings under the stars. This open-air dinner rendezvous, with some fantastic views of the sea and beach, offers an authentic ‘grill taste’ Tandoori, and wood fired pizza.

Alifaan Restaurant is a popular and casual daytime venue by the poolside with a comprehensive selection of snack favourites such as burgers, pizzas, sweet and salty crêpes, salads and smoothies.

Saima Garden has just 5 tables next to the beach amid lush vegetation. This exclusive and romantic boutique-style restaurant offers sumptuous Maldivian and International cuisine and elegant service.

Rasgefaanu Bar is the resort's main bar offering guests a wide range of cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There is an open-air deck by the beach, shaded by coconut palms, and a semi-enclosed bar with occasional evening entertainment along with a games room where guests can play snooker, table tennis and a variety of board games. This is where most of the evening entertainment takes place.

Sunset Bar gets its name from being the best place to catch the spectacular Maldivian sunsets, and Handhuvaru Bar at the north end of the island is good for a night cap with a real jungle vibe. Veyo Bar is poolside at the Sports Centre and is packed with treats such as fruit juices, cocktails, beer and ice cream, and Riya Bar at the south east end of the island has an active sports theme.

The SSI/PADI 5-star dive centre has an experienced multilingual team offering basic and advanced courses, try dives and snorkelling option. As with most of the Maldivian islands, the diving is organised as either a non-limit 6 consecutive day house reef package, or a 10-house reef dive package. Boat dives are booked and paid for locally for a supplement of approximately $19 for a 1 dive excursion, $28 for a 2-dive excursion.

For the boat dives, most of the dive sites can be reached within 10 to 45 minutes by boat (Dhoni). The furthest dive spot is around an hour away from Reethi Beach. You can currently visit over 30 dive sites, which are divided into four basic categories: Thilas (shallow points), Outer reefs, Island reefs and Atoll reefs.

The house reef is some 30-100m from shore and lies on a channel that stretches out along the west side of the island. Dive the beautiful reef wall that drops down to 30m, and on the east side there is a vast Thundi (Sand Lagoon) with coral blocks and a couple of artificial surprises. During the southwest monsoon (May-October) you can hope for those magical whale shark encounters, and the northeast monsoon (November-April) brings much clearer waters when visibility is up to 40m.

Due to its diversity and wealth of marine life, the house reef of Reethi Beach is said to be one of the most beautiful house reefs in the Maldives. The regular passing of spinner dolphins, eagle rays, schools of barracudas, batfish and thousands of fusiliers are just some of the highlights. You can also encounter turtles, octopus, lobster, moray eels as well as their black tip and lemon shark families. The reef really comes alive during the evening, with visits from sting rays, guitar sharks and cobias which come right up to the shore at their daily feeding time.

Diving the Maldives is year-round, with its hot tropical climate. The Maldives lies in the monsoon belt of the Indian Ocean and has quite a varied weather pattern although the temperature remains fairly constant. There are two monsoons, the southwest from May to October and the northeast from November to April. Generally, the southwest brings more wind and rain in June and July, and a plankton bloom in early May can cause lower visibility but attracts whale sharks and manta rays. The peak time to visit is generally November to March.

The Maldives is renowned for the large pelagics that visit the area and the reefs that form channels and lagoons, along with encounters with some of our ocean favourites such as whale sharks, mantas, eagle rays, reef sharks, nurse sharks, and hammerheads. There are also some stunning channels with beautiful soft corals, along with amazing pinnacles to be explored.

Average temperatures in Summer (May-November):
Air 25-30°c / Sea 28-30°c

Average temperatures in Winter (December-April):
Air 26-32°c / Sea 28-30°c
