Voted Best Liveaboard Worldwide 2020, Emperor Elite has the largest cabin on the ocean, the 28 sqm Executive Suite, along with a new 18 sqm Junior Suite boasting panoramic views of the Red Sea. This 38m custom designed boat is built to a superior standard and accommodates a maximum of 26 guests in a variety of cabin types, across multiple decks.

All cabins are ensuite, with individual air conditioning, and three towels and a dive poncho for each guest. This spacious boat also has three sun decks, a dive deck with platform, a stylish air-conditioned salon and dining room. Free red wine is included within your package, along with NITROX and Wi-Fi, signal permitting. The contemporary style, luxurious finishes, delicious food, and fantastic crew and dive guides make for a memorable Red Sea diving holiday.

Divers can enjoy a selection of itineraries aboard Emperor Elite including Reefs & Wrecks which offers the best of both worlds visiting the famous wrecks of the Northern Red Sea such as SS Thistlegorm, along with some superb reef diving including the famous horseshoe shaped reef of Shaab El Erg, and not forgetting Ras Mohamed with its steep walls and big fish. South and St Johns is a fantastic trip for those wanting to experience the wonders of the Deep South.

The Red Sea lies between Africa and Asia and is surrounded by desert. The warm waters, minimal rainfall and sunny days attract travellers from all over the world. The diving season is year-round with visibility averaging 30m. From December to February, the nights can be cool, with warm, balmy nights in the summer months. July and August are the hottest months. In winter, there can often be a breeze.

There are over 1200 species of marine life that can be found in the Red Sea, the most common are clown fish, moray, turtles, napoleon, and parrot fish. Add to this world-famous wrecks, sharks, dolphins, pristine corals and even the elusive dugong, and you have a diving destination that has something wonderful around every corner. Reefs team with life, a kaleidoscope of colours sure to impress every diver, with the clear waters attracting underwater photographers along with beginners and those wanting to try their hand at technical diving, and of course shipwreck enthusiasts.

Trips depart from either Hurghada Port or Marsa Ghalib. We can arrange flights into both Hurghada Airport and Marsa Alam Airport from a selection of airports in the UK, the flight time is around five and a half hours.

Transfers between the airport and the boat will be included within your package.

A Visa is required for entry into both Hurghada and Marsa Alam.

The Egyptian Pound is the currency in Egypt however euros and sterling are widely accepted in small denominations.

Guests will enjoy a delicious variety of food each day, all freshly prepared by professional chefs and served buffet style. There is a good selection of meat, chicken, fish, pasta, rice, and vegetable dishes served with a choice of salads. During a typical day you will have breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, and crisps, chips, cakes, biscuits, and fresh fruit are available throughout the day, along with water, tea, coffee or hot chocolate, and soft drinks. All of which are complimentary. Emperor ask guests to bring their own refillable drinking water bottle.

Beer and wine are available onboard for an additional charge, alternatively guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol. Red wine is included during dinner on all boats. Please feel free to bring your favourite snacks as these can be quite limited in Egypt. Chocolate is available onboard for an additional charge.

If you have any special dietary requests, please do let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements for when you are onboard. Emperor source items locally, therefore some items such as wholemeal pastas or flour, gluten free products or soya substitutes are not typically available.
