The privileged suites are very spacious; they come with a dressing room, a bedroom and a living room. Their large furnished terraces offer a duplex bathtub for you and your partner’s enjoyment.

Catalonia Riviera Maya's All-Inclusive package includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, unlimited snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages with a wide selection of premium brands. Breakfast, lunch and themed dinners are served buffet-style in the La Brisa and El Mercado restaurants with their ambient sea front and poolside settings. There are 5 A La Carte restaurants which are subject to reservations, availability and dress code – La Toscana for Italian cuisine, Alebrijes restaurant for Mexican Fare, the Steak House and Grill, Catalonia Burgers restaurant, or the Ayami restaurant for a gastronomic array of East Asian offerings. The Bloved Lounge and Restaurant is exclusive for guests staying in Privileged rooms.

Four bars across the resort serve refreshments throughout the day for poolside chilling, cocktail o'clock and energetic evenings – including the vibrant La Pinata disco nightclub complete with a DJ. The resort offers a kids club and an extensive entertainment program to delight all ages.

Located directly on the beach in front of the Catalonia Riviera Maya, the centre is open 7 days a week from 08:00-17:00 (including public holidays) and has a fully equipped diving boat ready to transport divers to world-famed sites just a short 5–10 minute boat ride away. Dive depths range from 10-30m with all dives being led by fully certified Instructors who take great pride in showcasing the local reefs and beyond. Local sites are home to turtles, moray eels, stingrays, angelfish and many more, while the nearby wreck of Mama Vina has been colonised by schools for barracuda. Bull Sharks visit the warm waters every winter to raise their offspring with regular sightings throughout December to March. Dive and snorkel excursions to the Cenotes can also be organised from the centre, as well as seasonal bull shark diving or trips to the fascinating underwater museum of MUSA.

Puerto Aventuras is a desirable resort area within a gated community located in the Riviera Maya, approximately 75-minutes from Cancun International and 15-minutes from Playa Del Carmen in the Quintana Roo state, southeasterrn Mexico. The spectacular ruins of Tulum are 87km away and the paradise island of Cozumel can be reached by regular passenger ferry service from the nearby Playa del Carmen ferry terminal. Puerto Aventuras beach is a premium stretch in the Riviera Maya with shallow and calm waters, which are home to spectacular reefs with their colourful corals and an abundance of marine species.

Whilst Mexico has a year-round warm and tropical climate with average air temperatures of 26°c, it has two defined seasons - a wet season and dry season. The dry season runs from November to May with little rainfall and 12 to 14 hours of sunshine per day. The wet season brings humidity and short, sharp tropical rainstorms with September being the wettest month. Mexico's official hurricane season runs from June to November with the highest risk of storms from mid-August through September.

Mexico's waters remain consistently warm throughout the year with the Caribbean sea averaging temperatures between 25°c in winter and 28°c in summer. Visibility is excellent all year round.

Regular direct flights operate from London and Manchester to Cancun International Airport (CUN) with an approximate 10-hour flight time. The resort is located in Puerto Aventuras - a 75-minute ride away from the airport.

Tourists do not need a visa to enter Mexico but will receive a passport stamp with the number of permitted days, which will need to be presented when leaving the country. All passports should be valid for the trip duration.
