During your week you will gain underwater cinematography techniques such as the art of diving as a camera operator, editing and post production-colour correction and grading, topside cinematography, effective storytelling, sound design and how best to deliver your videos for either public performance or online streaming, everything you need to turn your videos into engaging, short films.

The primary objective of the workshop is to allow you to flourish in a creatively stimulating and non-competitive environment which encourages you to try different things and truly find talents you may not have previously known you have. Team work, questions and enthusiasm are encouraged and you will have unrestricted access to an award winning film-maker with professional expertise both behind and in front of the camera, as well as the entire post-production process.

Whether you want better holiday videos to share with friends or you want to become a professional yourself, this workshop is the ideal place to do some world class diving, learn and most importantly, have fun!

The ultimate diving adventure! Enjoy the relaxed, laid back atmosphere of Marsa Shagra, a unique location the likes of which you will not find anywhere else in the world. Marsa Shagra offers an unlimited diving concept where you can dive as much, or as little as you like. The house reef is available to you from 6am until 8pm. You will have the freedom to dive as buddy pairs and as well as shore diving, you can take advantage of the free use of the zodiacs that drop you off and pick you up at your chosen points of entry and exit.

As this workshop is during the Oceanic season we have included 8 dive credits within your dive package, this would cover at least 2 trips to Elphinstone and another off shore reef!

Full board is included during your stay at Marsa Shagra, this includes three hearty meals a day, afternoon cake, and as much tea, coffee, water, bottled fanta, coke and sprite as you can drink. Fresh juices, speciality teas and coffee's, wine, beer along with diet drinks are also available and charged for locally. All meals are served buffet style at Shagra, there is a good range of salad's and vegetables, a choice of meat's or fish a few local flavours thrown in for good measure, should you have a sweet tooth make sure you save room for dessert, often around 5 or 6 choices.
